There is a Tehsil headquarters here. Ghumarwin is quite near to the national highways NH205 and NH503A. Furthermore, the two dominant political parties in this assembly are the BJP and INC. In that body, both Anurag singh thakur, who represents Parliament as an MP, and Rajinder Garg, who is now the assembly’s MLA, are members. According to the 2011 Census report, SC and ST assemblygoers make up 24.876% and 1.1% of the assembly’s total voting population, respectively, along with Muslim voters, rural voters, and urban voters who make up around 1.9%, 92.17%, and 7.83% of the population, respectively. In the 2019 Parliamentary Election, there were 111 voting locations for the Ghumarwin assembly, and 85921 voters participated. In addition, 71.14 percent of Ghumarwin’s registered voters cast ballots in the 2019 election, compared to 74.1 percent in the previous one.
