Kasba Bharmour, the ST category assembly seat for the Himachal Pradesh state of India, is located in the Bharmour Tehsil of the Chamba District and part of the Mandi parliament seat. Near Bharmour are the NH3 and NH154A national roads. The two largest political parties in this country are the BJP and INC. Both, current assembly member Jia Lal and the district’s Mp Pratibha Singh, who represented the INC and won the district’s latest Lok Sabha by-election in 2021 from Mandi following the passing of Ram Swaroop Sharma, who had won the general Lok Sabha election in 2019,represents the district in that bodyserve as the district’s representatives in that body. Muslims, voters in rural areas, and voters in cities make up around 1.3%, 100%, and 0% of the population, respectively, according to the 2011 Census report. SC and ST assemblygoers make up 15.38% and 58.83% of the assembly’s total voting population, respectively. In the 145 polling places that were open for the 2019 Parliamentary Election, 74653 voters cast ballots for the Bharmour assembly.
